Hi All!

It's been a long time since I've written anything.  I'm pleased to announce that there will be a new website very soon for Leemanuel's Music.

Also I released the digital album "Christmas Volume 1" back on November 15th.  It was a fun project to work on and the name does imply that there should be a 2nd volume at some point.

I've been working on a song to add to the conversation about climate change.  I put up a poll on Twitter to try and gauge how people think about the subject.  The options were "Liberal Hoax", "Did the ice caps melt?", "Still time to change", and "It's already too late".

There was only 1 response to the post - but it was the hopeful "Still time to change".

Some may think of the issue as political, but I see it as existential.  It's not just a matter of "you can't stop the weather".  

On a very regular basis we're seeing the impact of extreme weather.  Hurricanes, Tornados, Floods, Wild Fires.  Much of it unprecedented. Much of it costing lives. But it seems that collectively we all just shrug our shoulders and move on.  Maybe make a donation to relief efforts.

I often wonder what will it take to have the situation become a priority.  Perhaps we need one of our great cities to go under water...but oh, New Orleans and Katrina.

And "we" still carry on waiting for the next disaster.  I understand the problem is bigger than any individual, and it will take an effort the likes of which are probably only seen during times of war.
